Noise Reduction Software

I am always looking for ways to improve my photographs and photography. I've avoided shooting low light photographs because of noticeable noise. I realize a higher priced camera would reduce this problem but I'm not able to afford a better kit. an alternative is software that reduces noise.

I did some research on different packages and settled on Noiseware Standard Edition for $50. It's a plug-in for most of the leading graphic software packages including Photoshop & Elements. Once installed it become a simple filter selection inside Elements to automatically reduce noise & increase sharpness. You have total control over the process and the software utilizes artificial intelligence to improve over time.

I chose one of my previously posted photos to see if you can see the difference. I'm loving this software more each time I use it.

Re: Noise Reduction Software

There is a definate improvement when using the software. I picked a point at the bottom left of the image to compare and was rather amazed by the results. For that price it is a very good purchase

Re: Noise Reduction Software

I purchased version 4. Don't know the limitations of version 2 or if there's a time limit for its use.

Re: Noise Reduction Software

One of the things I love about Noiseware 4.0 is the speed. I'm operating on my Toshiba laptop & it takes about 2 seconds to clear all the noise with that filter plug-in. Amazing!
