Nice one JR - like the intensity in his eyes - like he's seen a lot. Excellent clarity too - who needs full frame when you're getting shots like that

I like this photo Jack because of the perfect facial composition in the frame, the use of controlled depth of field, drawing interest to the sharp features of the face & the display of interesting textures in the photo. The soldier's skin along with the rugged texture of his helmet & strap add overall detail that draws the eyes to the face. Well done!

Great capture. The detail in the sking and the intensity of his stare truely makes this shot. I like the DoF to which is rare for me as i always prefer really shallow!
