Re: leah and hollie.....how do i warm up the skin colour ?

Think you have taken some very good portraits but I would loose the upright poles particularly the one she has balanced on her head. Now as you know I am not an expert but would try using a warming filter in PS to warm the shot, use a layer and then if you wish you can remove the filter effect from any part of the photo that you think would be best without it but leave it on the skin to warm the skin.

There may be a much better way and if some one comes up with it I will be interested to read it as well.

The models look very good and if you show them these results I do not think you will have any problem getting them to do it again for you so well done.

Re: leah and hollie.....how do i warm up the skin colour ?

To do it in camera go into settings and up the saturation a little, can be a little less delicate than doing it in the 'shop.

You can use a warming filter like Snapper says, or create a new fill layer and fill it with pink. Select the blend mode to soft light, adjust the opacity to suit and then use the layer mask to remove the parts that you don't want to add the warming too.

Re: leah and hollie.....how do i warm up the skin colour ?

hi all!
thanks for the tips .....have to say i found it differcult to get it right using the warm up and pink filter as it made the lips, eyes, nose too red lol
it is the matter of erasing them out as well ? arghhh i hate erasing layers as i make a right mess

here in the first image i have upped the saturation but im not sure
in the second image i used warm up filter like you have suggested ......do they look any differant ?

you get her to hold it low down or rest it on something, or top tip: Get yourself a couple of those big Crocodile clips from the market and clip it to your tripod.

there's no simple answer to that Claire - get the size that will meet your needs.
