Old Mill of Guildford

I came across this old mill today, it still works and there is a little old fashioned store inside.I took tons of pics, but here are a few I have gone through, the kids were fascinated with the porch

As you can see the weather is fantastic!

Re: Old Mill of Guildford

Shouldn't there be someone sat on that porch playing a banjo??

(I bet it's great there when all the leaves come out)

Re: Old Mill of Guildford

Yes the mill still works, you see Sammy Guildford has a millbet you never knew that

I am loving it here, so many things to take photos of, and the birds are amazing so pretty, shame I am crud at taking wildlife pics!

Can't edit any pics or anything as I am still using Lee's laptop, might have to download a trial version of photo shop today, until my computer is set up.

The weather is fantastic, and everybody is sooo nice and friendly, I love it!

Re: Old Mill of Guildford

I would have loved an opportunity to photograph that mill Suzi. I would have gotten much close to the water wheel, eliminating the tree from the foreground. In your first photo you might consider eliminating the power lines cutting through the sky.

Re: Old Mill of Guildford

Great set Suzi, how nice to see a blue sky and not in PS either. Looks so pretty and not a bit like the brash America we have all come to think of. Once you have settled in and got yourself a car you will be in your photographic element.
