I wish I had`nt told you about YOP now, another great picture taker to make my efforts look even worse
Love the bee in flight, that is a shot and a half !

Some great shots there CS.

The only thing I'd suggest is to try and get the light on the side you're taking - so for the 1st shot I might have tried to get the sun behind me to the left (or positioned myself so that were the case), and for the 2nd behind me to the right. They've still come out nice - just something to try

Thanks again, and thanks for the tip Azz will try it next time (if we ever get any sun )

The first picture was taken with my Fuji fineix S7000 (compact), the second pic was taken with the Canon using the kit lens (18-55mm f/3.5-5.6)

Nice shots!

May I suggest trying to use the cameras abilities (and yours) rather than the preset programs. you have an excellent eye for a good shot, Id love to see some more of your stuff!
