Number 3 and 4 I like a lot, but the others dont work for me. The background puts me off the first two, the one with the yellow background I do like, but I dont like the Cats mouth being open. I love the reflection in the Cats eyes in number 4, I think you captured that beautifully! He is a beautiful Cat Tina, you'll have to go and have another session soon.

Re: A cat named Hinko

wow - you really are taking some great images.

I like them all... I would say #1 is a tad underexposed, you could have afforded another stop. Also I'd be inclined to blur the distracting background a little more.

I love the angle & composition of #2 - nice creative thinking that sets it apart from the 'normal' cat snap.

#3 - I like the movement you have captured in the paws, whilst keeping the face sharp. Only a minor detail but I think you could have focused a little further back to capture the eyes sharper rather than the nose. Nice use of portrait mode.

#4 - I simply love it - I like the high key effect you have captured very well - I can see a picture like this as an editorial back piece in a magazine. Those eyes are captivating - Great work.

#5 - nice composition, the cat looking into the picture, and good use of background colour. That said, this doesn't instantly appeal to me.

#6 - I like the concept very much. The small twig distracts and detracts from the image and again you could have focused a tad further back again onto those gorgeous eyes. As it is the focus is on the bridge of the nose and as a result the eyes are ever so very slightly soft.

All in all some fantastic shots.

Re: A cat named Hinko

#3 is the choice for me with the sense of movement, and like Jack says would have been even better with the focus on the eye and not the nose.

Really nice set, just look a little dark in some cases. Had a check in the 'shop and the histogram is missing the whites in in #1 and #2.

Good to see different angles and variation of camera orientation

Re: A cat named Hinko

I love the whole set. The first photo is slightly underexposed but good sharpness, clarity and composition. The second photo had me laughing out loud. Great choice of angle there. The last photo is so very different it's eerie and very artistically done. Bravo!
