Re: Southport Marine Bridge

Another great set of pics, especially like the 2nd pic with the railings leading you into the picture up to the bridge great work pal

Re: Southport Marine Bridge

Nice shots there Ste - and I quite like the design of the bridge too!

Composition is great in all of them, and well exposed as usual. Is it just me or what a difference this 'fresh air' has on images too? Like how you can see what's in the background that little bit clearer/crisper. The only one I'm not sure about is number 3 with the yellow hoop thingy - but I guess the ghost makes up for it lol (and it seems to work better full size).

Also, cropping number 4 just above the brick wall and a tad lower from the top would make for a pleasing picture

Overall - nice set!

Re: Southport Marine Bridge

I wish we had some of these modern floodlit structures by us as they look great at night especially with the water.

I think number two is my favourite. As others have said - those vivid blue railings coming right out of the image into the corner really gives a sense of depth to the shot.

Number four works really well too.

Re: Southport Marine Bridge

I love #2 as well, for the same reasons as the others. The blue railings add some more interest for me, and give the image a bit of an edge over the others.

Hope you don't mind, but my friend lives in Southport and I linked her to this thread, and she said - "Wow, he actually managed to make Southport look NICE!"
