Re: Stark Moon

Nice moon shot Manguish, esp likes where it sits in the frame. And well exposed!

You could add some sharpening, not that it needs it but I think it could work well given the texture.

Re: Stark Moon

I only changed it to a bigger version.

Flickr seems to have an effect on pictures. Lightroom looks awesome, then on the net they look pants.

The smaller (first posted) one is here :

Larger :

Go figure. Same picture?

Re: Stark Moon

That's odd because the smaller one is defintely sharper! Wonder what/why they are doing it? :-/

It's one of the reasons a prefer photobucket, it doesn't resize or reduce the file size unless you 'tick' the box for it to do so (and it's free and hardly ever down).

Re: Stark Moon

Nice shot. The second one certainly looks better.

Not sure what the Flickr issue is regarding size.

When I upload shots to Flickr it stores the full size original image.

Whenever I select a picture 'from' Flickr to put on a forum I click 'all sizes' and get the choice of then posting either:

1. Original size
2. Large size 1024 X 683
3. Medium size 500 x 333
4. Small size 240 x 160
5. Thumnail 100 X 67
6. Square 75 x 75

Sometimes a picture might look a bit funny when it appears small on the forum but whenever I click on it to view full size I just see whichever of the above I'd chosen to take from Flickr.
