Re: Formby Beach

Some great shots there Ste, esp like number 3.

What are the benefits of a National Trust membership? Maybe start a new thread about it in general photo chat?

All very good shots SK and they work well in B/W too. Have you added a toning or warming filter to those shots?

Re: Formby Beach

Great work, lovely beach shots, and I really like them in Mono, adds more drama.
As Grant said, the sky in NO4 is superb.

If you visit a few NT sites throughout the year it can be a lot cheaper to get the annual membership. Once paid you get free entry to NT sites and the equivalent in Scotland.

Because I visit Studland many times a year and the parking there is £5 per day, I only have to make 9 visits a year and I save the membership fee because I get free parking. Add to that all the other NT sites locally (Kingston Lacy for the snowdrops, Corfe Castle, Brownsea Island to name just few) and it is far cheaper to get the annual membership.

I love pic 1. The sky is just great and the path leads one into the image.
