Well thats blown my theory wide open Coalville on Sea I think not. Did remind me of those concrete pourings that hold back the banks and sand dunes so may be it is on the side of a road cutting although I don't think Leicester is known of those sort of hills either.

Ok, actually it is taken in a tunnel under a main road. The 'floor' was this wire mesh holding rubble and stones in place and for some unknown reason there was a hole... Stopped for a quick bite and try and work out on the map why I was in the wrong place!
