Stob Dubh & Stob na Broige (Glen Etive)

One from today looking up Glen Etive toward the hills Stob Dubh & Stob na Broige. For those who don't fancy climbing a 'munro' there's a good (if soggy) walk through the U shaped valley between them (Lairig Gartain) to Glencoe.

The rough ground down to the right was full of deer so I wandered down for a closer look. They normally don't hang about but today I found myself in the middle of a whole herd. I counted 40 or 50 before taking a few shots which I've still to check out. I'll post them if they've come out OK.

I had everything ready the night before. Everything was charged (even the spare camera) lenses cleaned, butties made, boots, spare socks, map, flask ready to pour, everything done.

Flipping tripod was just stood in the corner of the room and I left it

There's about a 1 in 10 chance of these hills even being visible Azz

A spot of P'Shop would bring that out I think.

Phil it is beautiful, really love the earthy tones, topped off by caps of white. Looks like you had a beautiful day.
