Portfolio Book

I have quite a few nice prints from my college course, that I now want to put into a proper Portfolio. Where did you buy your Portfolio book from? As there are lots of companies out there, I wondered if you could recommend one?

Thanks in advance xx

Re: Portfolio Book

The price ranges quite a bit to cheapy plastic ones to really nice leather ones.

If you want to keep the prints for a long time and in good condition, I would get one of the sturdier leather ones.

Places like waterstones may have them, if not stationers will

Nikon 55-200mm VR

Re: Portfolio Book

Snapfish (owned by HP) do a nice portfolio/coffee table book. It is hard back and the colours and paper quality is very good. They are not that expensive. You can do it all online, pick your own layout ect. It really is a professional looking thing
Kit 1
Nikon D80. I don't like it.
Kit 2
Fuji S9600. Cheap, but I do like it. A great bridge camera.

Re: Portfolio Book

It is a printed book, so not updatable. Still a good thing for the money as a showcase as it does look very professional.

Re: Portfolio Book

Jols,

I found a great selection here Portfolios Plus http://www.portfoliosplus.com/catalogues/catalogue.pdf .

They have loads of different styles and materials, even a large range of plastic sleeves, which is important the better quality they are the better your image will look. Also you can get special cd pockets, to hold cd's to give to with someone to look at.
They have quite a few that have a pocket inside for your contact details , business cards, plus you can get then embossed or printed with your name.

So now got to decide on the final itemsI want a Portrait one , so when mounted on black paper the prints have a good inch around them, and my name embossed.

I will let you know what combination I decide.
