I thought P&S Cameras could give good results, but this D80 is blowing me away.

What I like about this shot - the colours! Divine! The interesting cloud lines in the sky - Great, the jaunty angle - smart! The person next to the statue to give a sense of perspective and size - clever!

That's a great shot - really like it.
Great colours, composition, sky and as Jack says the inclusion of the figure gives you the sense of scale.
