Best site to buy a camera bag from?

I am finally going to bite the bullet and buy a bag to keep all my kit in. I am baffled by all the many sites. I am after a basic bag that wil hold an SLR and 2-3 lenses plus associated memory cards etc. I just thought you would know which the cheaper sites were.

What type of camera bag are you looking for Rach?

I can't get on with a Rucksack/ Backpack style, I prefer across the body bags. I have a Crumpler bag which is great. You can pick them up cheaper on Ebay, infact look on Ebay, you can get most styles new or nearly new on there, especially this time of year, unwanted Christmas gifts

Have a good look at Amazon. They keep doing good prices on particular bags for a few days at a time. Even some of the big Lowepro bags have been in the 50-60 quid mark.

I have two... a Maxi which will take easily my camera and lens, cards etc, plus have enough room for purse, keys , phone etc, if I am going out for the day with the kids, but don't want to take everything.I can also walk the dogs with this one, my XL is too big for that. I also have an XL, which holds all my stuff , lens, flash gun etc to keep it all safe at home. or take everything with me. I have the Pretty Boy Style. You have a Canon which is a bit bigger than my Oly so I would go for at least a Large.

Rach have a look at warehouse express, they have good description of what you can fit into each style and size http://www.warehouseexpress.com/cate...nge=1136#first

OK. I have decided and indeed bought my bag. It is a Crumpler Pretty Boy 4000 XL bag which I got new from ebay for £18.95 plus postage. The colour for all who know me is of course RED!

fast work fudge it took me about a month to decide on a bag ha ha and then i bought one got my inches mixed up with my cm's and ended up with a small suitcase ha ha. but it does hold everything safe three cameras and lens ect, but NOT a walkabout bag.

take a pic when it comes and let us know what fits in as its a good price I might like to purchase one.

Re: Best site to buy a camera bag from?

My lovely wife bought me a Lowepro Slingshot 200 and it is great.
Holds everything I need, 450D and 4 lenses including my 70-300 fitted on the body or loose in its pocket. Plenty room for all the bits and pieces and I can hang my tripod off the strong loops fitted to it.
I particularily like its useful rucksack carrying position and rapid swing across your front so you can have it in front of you and grab the gear quickly. Admittedly it is a bit of a trick getting a different lens out of the main bag but I am getting better at it.
She got it at about half price from purelygadgets.

Glad you got sorted with a bag that suits you.
