MyMemory.com

Hi all, just been doing some shopping after i came across this link on another forum:

http://www.mymemory.co.uk/

I have just bought 2 x 8gb memory cards and some other bits and pieces. Will let you all know if they are any good. They are doing 40% off memory cards at the moment.

Re: MyMemory.com

I use these too. The 8 GB Sandisk extreme III, at 30mbs per second (I've tested it at 8fps on my D300 - not a problem) is fantastic value at a tad under £40!

Re: MyMemory.com

I already have 26gb of memory sitting here... but thought i better get 2 more 8 gb cards for the 5D, plus i don't want to get to Aviemore in January and have my laptop break so i can't empty my memory cards... always good to have spare! So that takes me up to 42gb!! LOL

Re: MyMemory.com

on an 8gb card... about 250 shots.. that is on the maximum RAW setting.

I probably wont shoot in Raw though for the racing... it is over 2 days... and then there is also the trek and weight pull... althogh i never really fully trust myself to not shoot in RAW... just in case i want to edit LOL.

Mina is a few weeks too young so can't compete but we will be using some of the training runs.

We wont be skiing but wanted ski gear for the warmth I can't ski as i damaged my knee playing hockey years ago. if i ski my knee could be damaged permanently
