Moon shot fans - meant to be a clear night tonight

Tonight is supposed to be a very big and clear moon.

14% bigger than normal so lets hope for some clear skies.

I love moon pics and might try a grab a shot, polishing my tripod as we speak.

Re: Moon shot fans - meant to be a clear night tonight

I don't have along enough zoom, to get a decent Moon shot, but I look forward to seeing your results. Hope DJ takes some!

Luke says thanks Jols, because his Mum is a muppet and didn't know about this but now, he is going to get his telescope out!xxx

take your photos early - the moon appears closer and bigger at its lowest point (but its actually the same distance).

If you miss it this time around you will be able to have another go in 15 years time. At the moment its covered in haze between the clouds comming over.
