Yes, there's some sort of dirt/dust Sadly, it doesn't appear to be on the lens, and we can't get it off!

My OH feels this means we should buy a new camera!!

The beach is spectacular. It's really busy at one end (on the first photo) with surfers, body boards, kite-surfing etc, but we walked up to the middle and far end with the dog and there was no-one at all

Re: Porth Neigwl (N. Wales)

How old is your camera? If it's a sealed unit, and the dust is inside - could it be a warranty job?

Re: Porth Neigwl (N. Wales)

That's just like the 'blobs' that appear on my D50

I cleaned the lens (both ends) but still the blobs appeared.

Put another lens on - still appeared so i knew it wasd the camera.

Did a mirror lock and used a blower on the sensor - helped a little

Noticed the same blobs a while later (only on certain exposure settings though)

Took the lens off ready to lock the mirror to check the sensor again and then noticed it was some bits on the mirror.

You can always clone stamp out the blobs - a lot of my skies on my pics have had blobs removed this way.
