Opteka .35x HD² Fisheye Lens - will it fit a canon?

I'm pretty sure it should fit a canon, because as far as I'm aware the screwfit is pretty universal. My friend at Uni has a nikon and I pinch her stuff.

anyone any ideas?

These screw on, just like a filter don't they?so as long as you buy the right size, it should be fine. I may be wrong, but I think it is fine for your camera.

It looks like Nikon fit. If you try to thread an incorrect size thread into your filter ring you may damage your ring. Not a good idea.

Ring the company - they should be able to advise accordingly.

I generally find that the cheapest is not always the easy way out of solving a problem.

This product looks to me to be the be all and end all of all products quote " Super Wide Angle Panoramic Macro Fisheye Lens "

I straight away become suspicious of anything that claims all this - Super Wide Angle- then Panaoramic- then Macro- then Fisheye. All this for £40 ???????? The price alone should tell you something.

Re: Opteka .35x HD² Fisheye Lens - will it fit a canon?

When I bought my first SLR style camera (Fuji s602pro, about 5 years ago) I bought the Opteka x2 telephoto adapter, and was going to buy the wide angle adapter later on.

Have to say, the adapter was rubbish, the image in the centre was 'okay' but the blurring as you got to the outer edges was dreadful.

I day don't waste yer money.
