Hdr

Lo folks.

Trying to get into HDR photography.

Mainly only ever pointed and shot - been playing with filters (real uns on the camera) recently. Read about HDR, and as yet have not taken any "REAL" HDR photos.

This pic is a mashup from a normal photo.

I need to understand better what implications changing on tone mapping do to achieve the best results.

The photo below is Cusco (peru) and is quite an extreme HDR effect.

Let me know your thoughts.

Looks nice M, I haven't got into HDR myself yet, but we have some excellent HDR's here who I'm sure will be happy to help

The building has taken quite well but the clouds look very flat and the grass maybe a bit too green? It would be well worth having another go at that picture as the clouds would really be fantastic..what programme are you using?

I use photomatix or Artizan and then use CS3 to tart them up a bit
