need a good way or place to convert slides!

Hi again guys! I found a load of old slides at my mums and would love to do something with them for her!
Has anybody on here ever converted, or had slides converted!

I know there is somewhere in Liverpool that does them I will find out for you, I know they did a great job. Are these your Dad's slides?

yep all my Dads theres loads of them!! lol also Mum and Dads wedding Photos to! class 60's wedding!

If you have quite a few to digitise then it may be cheaper to buy a slide scanner or a good flat bed scanner with a slide adaptor. I use a Minolta 5400 slide scanner and quite regularly digitise 35mm slides.

It is a 16 bit, 5400x5400 resolution so it produces huge files and coupled with Vuescan produces great images.
