The corner of Duke Street

Another London street scene, this time the corner of Duke Street, did not take any of Grosvenor Square which is to the left, as big policemen with big scary guns, are there around the US Embassy So thought it unwise Taken with my little P&S.

I like this because, it is a capture of quintessential London.

Re: The corner of Duke Street

Well everyone seems to have an opposite view to me, think there must be something wrong with my perception, may be I will keep my thoughts to myself.

No, you should say what you think ..all comments are valid

I like the shot as well but the focal point (the letter box) seems quite small compared to the buildings .. a very busy shot but I still like it

Thanks everyone,

I was crouched down like a loony, so I could get the size of the buildings in, and I am pleased with the result.

The reason I capture people walking out of the shot, is partly because I don't like taking pictures of people walking towards me, as I think unless you have their permission it is very rude. The guy by the tube station,I did ask if it was okay
