Enhanced Gourds On Display
Since recently posting the original Gourds on Display I've been working on improving it's presentation quality. I've increased the contrast, added a drop shadow & placed it all on a creme colored beveled matt. This version is now framed and hanging on my wall in front of me. I used a shadow box frame that gives the photo a 3 dimensional feel. I quite like it. Do you think this version is better than the original?

Mmmmm... It would seem the consensous is no frame. so be it. I suppose my originals are superior to post processed enhanced images. So be it. lol

Bob, not sure it is the frame it may be the colour that is not doing the image any favours. Try picking one of the darker colours from the image and see if that works any better.

You're not against the rest Jols, I liked it enough to put it in a wooden frame & hang it on my wall. I like it because of the 3 dimensional look in a shadow box.
