Re: Down on the Farm!

Good capture and have a good eye for interesting subjects However i would have preferred a wider shot, as in this, the tractor has no feel of movement or has anywhere to go. The cows, to me, are slightly distracting - they busy up the image too much and have no purpose being there. Also, dont forget your rule of thirds:

http://www.yophotographer.com/page.php?t=85

Having your main focus centered and/or your horizon line, is regarded as tabboo (although sometimes it can work in the captures favour) in photography and can make, ,what could have been a fab and interesting shot boring.

This is a brief edit iv just done for you, with the changes i suggested above:

Looking at this, i think it would work well with more sky too
After all that, i hope you dont mind the critique *hides behind couch*

One more thing ... Your colours are a bit "flat" you will have settings in your cam menu to change that. On mine its under "optimize image", check your manual. I keep mine on "Vivid" as it brings out the colours more, but there are alot more options on there. Dont be afraid to play with your cameras menu and settings - you will get so much more out of it!

Re: Down on the Farm!

This is the original picture lol!

I'll check out the manual regarding the colours and see how I can change that! Thanks for that bit of advice!
