Astoria-Megler Bridge

It took me a while to ride the 200 mile loop to Astoria to photograph the Astoria-Megeler Bridge. Jack Russell got me going this morning with his lovely photograph of an old bridge. I had to post a photo of the Astoria bridge I'd downloaded from a Google search. Tsk,Tsk. That will never do. Heres the results from two different angles. At 4.1 miles long I can't even see that far. I had a beautiful clear day for it however.

Re: Astoria-Megler Bridge

First ones a stunner.

How many bridges to go Bob?

You should start your own thread Bob's Bridges. That would be great!

What do you think?

Actually this bridge doesn't count. There are 41 Covered Bridges in Oregon. Imagine trying to cover a 26,000 foot bridge like the one I photographed here. LOL

I've only captured one covered bridge so far. I diidn't mention the 200 mile ride I took for the second on that I couldn't find.
