Riverside
I took this the other day on a riverside walk up one of the best Sea Trout/Salmon rivers in North Wales.
In composing the picture I selected this area because the light was good and I liked the tree on the left bank which draws the focus around the river bend.
I got down low to the ground and included some foreground vegetation on the right for framing and interest. The only PP editing was to burn an area either side of the bushes centre rear to give the far bank some dimension and lift, I highlight dodged the right hand foilage a tad to enhance the light and lift it. I then applied a very slight gaussian blur to soften the sunlight and give the picture a slightly ethereal feel. finally I cropped it down to emphasise the width of the river.
1/8th second exposure, exposure bias 0/3 EV, F22, 70mm lens length, iso 100.

Nice pic JR, looks well executed shot and edit. Of course enjoy the 'how it was done'!
