From Hothfield Common

I'm trying to photo something different, I haven't quite got the hang of things though, but these are the best of a bad bunch

Re: From Hothfield Common

You are right, trees are difficult to photograph. They present lots of challenges, size, height, breadth, exposure, WB, etc... You are experimenting well with composition.

Re: From Hothfield Common

I think the answer is to find and unusual shape or angle of shot. where trees are concerned.

Re: From Hothfield Common

I know how it feels when you have made the effort to take a set of shots and are then disappointed with them.

But think the first sign of improvement is when the percentage of those shots you think worthy of sharing starts to increase.

From those you have decided to show us I would say they are well worth showing and I like them all with slight reservations about number 3, don't know why it just does not interest me like the others do.

It is obvious that you have thought about the angle you have taken them from and have achieved some interesting compositions, well done and keep up the good work, and remember you are not alone in filling the litter bin
