Ye Olde Spooky Church

Well, it's not that spooky, come to think of it I don't think it's that old (circa 18th C I think)

But it was a nice place to spend lunchtime yesterday

Alan.

Re: Ye Olde Spooky Church

Thanks all,

It was nice to get out the office for an hour, and nicer to spend half an hour in front of the computer to make it

Glad you like it

Hi,

It is 3 image HDR (I do HDR when I want as much detail in the sky as I can get) Not much tone mapping as I didn't care about the colours (as I was going to make it mono anyway)

Then I have done a lot of contrast adjustment, not using the contrast control but local contrast adjusment using the Unsharp Mask (yes, it does more than just sharpening)

Each time the image was darkened down I used a lot of Dodge and Burn to balance the light and dark areas, then repeated the process.

The image also has a slight 'tone' which was done last.

Apart from that the image was also cropped, rotated and has some vertical lens adjustments.

I think that's it
