Swans and a duck - too dark?
Taken at Dunham Massey yesterday
I think some of them are too dark?

I love them, they are a little dark, but it looks like the swan is swimming through black ink, I kind of like it actually

This is a tech question are the swan shots inclined to be dark because the camera was on alto and set the levels low because of the amount of white in the subject?
As it happens I like the inky water.

Hi Snapper, yes the camera was on auto as I was holding an excited Polo whilst taking the shots (does that give you a picture...)

Thanks Polo, had a similar thing happen, to be honest I have not really come to grips with the light thing so leave it on auto but as some of my shots have a blue tinge I think I am about to learn to set it myself.
