altered, it didn't work out how I wanted, I wanted the people in the background to fade so it was all about the couple's dance

Not really keen on this one, but it has the castle in it

I like 2 and 3, that blurring bit behind the bride really sticks out in no. 1. Nice photo's though.

Re: Wedding at a Castle! Few altered images

Love 1 and 5 find that in 2 & 3 the background very irritating the way the window on the right slopes out of the shot and the one behind the couple seems to vie for your attention. Otherwise you certainly have the feel for the romantic shot.

Re: Wedding at a Castle! Few altered images

Hello,

I am not normally a fan of mixed colour/mono. I quite like shot no1, I think becuase there is not a lot of colour (after all, he is in black she is in White so that just leaves the red hair) Mixed colour/mono shots are normally pretty poor, but this one does work.

I like no3, that is what the day is all about, the Bride and Groom.

As for separating the b&g, do your selection like you have, but instead of selecting the bride and groom select all the elements you don't want, then try using a blur combined with taking the levels down, then you will get more of the effect you want.

Alan.
