Bruiser
I recently posted some pictures of one of my cats (thread title - Murphy)
Moonstone said he looked like a bit of a bruiser.
Anyway, despite being a softy when it suits - I thought this one (point and shoot camera from memory) was more in keeping with the 'bruiser' description.

Have you ever read the kids book Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy to Hannah? well, the cat that scares all the dogs away, Scarface Claw, the biggest baddest cat in town, that is your Murphy
If I ever adopt another cat, or one adopts me, and it is a big tom, that is what I am going to call it
