Loupy lou

Loupy is a pure czech wolfdog. I wanted to create a surrel image with an overpowering feel. I put her in the centre of the image for maxiumum impact and used the stairs to lead in the viewers eyes. The stars were added in tiffen, she is a european breed and i used the picture on my site for a while.

Re: Loupy lou

Oh i noticed this shot elsewhere - personally i think the orignal colour version worked best, but i love it either way

Re: Loupy lou

I was torn between both. the black and white brings out the fur detail more it seems though

Re: Loupy lou

Maybe you could try a little tone mapping on the fur?

Re: Loupy lou

maybe. i dont have the original raw file anymore. i lost a lot of stuff when my last laptop died. I used to like doing hdr and tone mapping etc but its not my thing anymore. I think i prefer a little subtlety nowadays
