On my visit to the doctors surgery
Next to the car park a field containing hundreds and hundreds of sunflowers
and I guess a good few flies
and one solitary poppy

I find it fasinating the way the heads follow the sun round and I can never work it out how they don't get twisted stalks

Strangely the sunflowers in their big blousy magnificent made the single poppy seem downright sophisticated in it's solitary state.

Brilliant shots Snapper, and well spotted. Sometimes the best planned photo trips can prove disappointing then a simple trip to the doctors can result in stunning images like these.
