Moon shots

Not sure if this is the appropriate section.... but here goes.


Well, a week or so ago I took a couple of good shots of the moon.
Here is one:




And then I waited for a full moon, and tonight I got these shots








I hope you all enjoy

Since moon photos can be difficult, here is the shooting information for anybody who is interested:

I know how difficult it is to photo the moon, some idiot keeps moving it out of frame

The closer you zoom in the harder it becomes. Hope you don't mind me adding my poor shot of the moon. it was taken at 2am in the middle of winter and freeing cold but the sky was clear.

To get really good closeup photos from what I have seen posted elsewhere by others you need a telescope attached to the camera. Trying to do it with an "ordinary" lens is neigh on impossible.
