Re: first attempt to post some pics

Reminds me of my childhood, you have, for me, really captured the feel of Southend and the area around the river Blackwater. I love it but it may be my emotion has taken over, see what others think.

Re: first attempt to post some pics

According to the exif files its been edited in photoshop CS3 Jols. As for the picture I am in two minds over it. First yes I like the scene-composition etc etc its excellent, second I am not so sure about the amount of editing done. Don't get me wrong it has been done very well but my personal taste is towards a more natural colouring.

Kevin
I did pinch your picture just to see what it would look like in black/white then removed it off my computer. If I may can I suggest you copy the above picture then just try it in black/white, you may well be pleased with that result as well, I was.

Just my poorly thoughts

Re: first attempt to post some pics

I personaly think the tone and the PP suits this shot very well - it adds a certain mood to it. The composition is wonderful too! My eye is drawn right through the scene which is axactly what you want on a landscape shot - Well done
