Sports Day

Iv had to check with the school if i can take some pics of Lukes sports day. I pointed out that i had a Pro cam (just incase they got funny about it on the day) any way, the head came down (great guy btw) and asked if i could shoot but on the condition () that i could photograph all the kids, and the school would pay! The head was great he said normally they ask no professional cameras as parents do get funny about (although hes not) but said if i do this, then iv got an excuse for my big cam! LOL - Obviously i said i would do it for free as it is Lukes school after all!

So there we go, Iv been roped into doing Lukes sports day this week (weather depending)

Should be interesting!

Re: Sports Day

That is great! I did the same thing and also the school fete and they made up a sort of collage in the corridor.

Don't forget to get your name up there

eg '' supplied by kanikula photography''

I am hoping it will lead to other stuff. I did the class photos as well for the school by under- cutting the previous guy and giving a pound per photo sold back to the school.

But getting in slowly through the back door is cool.

By the way my sons school does not mind you taking photos at any function assemblys, sports nativitys ect.

Seems all schools are different.

Looking forward to the photos

Have fun KK! You could become their resident photographer - I bet there's loads of money to be made in school family portraits.

Re: Sports Day

Are you planning to offer these for sale?

If yes, I have found that the close up shots are much more of a money spinner. Just a little tip if you are gonna do it next year as well.

Us mums are a sucker for a photo. lol. I am anyway.

Nice set of pics by the way and lovely weather!
