Dogs at the beach (taken with finepix A405)

We met up with some dogsey members at the beach today and here are some shots I got with my 'point and shoot because it's too sunny to see the damned display' approach!

My dad throwing a ball for Takara and a friend's collie. Presumably I should have focussed more towards Takara as she's quite out of focus? Would that have still got the collie in focus too?

I may have taken this as a quick snapshot rather than focussing the capture button first...

Takara digging a hole

Quite chuffed that I got this one without blurring!

Re: Dogs at the beach (taken with finepix A405)

Thanks Azz.. actually taken using my camera and not my phone

The dogs are sleepy so I may go experiment with what these menu options on my camera actually mean..

I can't wait until I can afford a new camera but for now I will have to make do with what I have (still haven't paid for the laptop I'm currently using!)

Re: Dogs at the beach (taken with finepix A405)

Thanks guys!!

I'm reading my destructions at the moment (only had the camera about 4 years and never read them!) didn't realise you could AF focus on one of the subjects, and then move to the middle of two!
