Dragon fly.

After seeing Greyhawks damsel flys i thought i would post a pic of a dragon fly, i have several of damsel and dragon flys but this is one of my favorites

Great shot I was over the moon last week when I got a pic of a Dragonfly I finally found one resting they are wonderful creatures and I love both the Dragonflies and Damselflies and can't wait to get out there a get some more pics

I think it's one of the Hawkers, but not sure which one, I'm a bit confused by the green and blue colouring

I'm not good at this sort of stuff, wish I were, you folk take some cracking shots and I am in truth a bit envious.

Thanks for all your replies, this was one of the easier insect shots i have taken, the dragon fly stayed on that cane for two hours and didn't seem to mind me at all
