Presumably you used the Nikon 70-200mm lens. It certainly does a fantastic job, looks as if it is a must have next on my list.
Great photos, I was wondering what the pictures were like pre editing because it looks as if not much was needed.

Bazza, it was the 70-200, the pics are pretty much as shot, only a level adjustment and a resize.
I took these at Knowsley Safari park Dawn, the tiger was in a fenced area and the lion was the other side of my car window
