Tom & Rolly

These two were taken with me laying as low as possible, calling the dogs and just snapping off shot after shot i kept these 2 out of about 15 of each dog

#1 is very well composed - the only thing letting it down is the focus. Your shutter speed was fine (1/250) so im thinking it was a focusing issue. Put your camera on continual focus when something is moving toward you, as it wont miss the shot.

#2 - Great Dof, Nice focus but the orientation of the frame isnt working for this shot. Because you have chopped his legs off, this would have been better suited to a portrait capture rather than a landscape

I think it's out of focus too, and the only other thing I would have liked to see different is the setting - just image this pic on the beach with the sea (or sunset) behind the dog, would be ace!!

I quite like this, love the expression on the face - I think portrait would have been good too OR maybe just a little lower, but I still like the shot as it is
