Hope you like them!

It's just stunning. We get up there as often as we can. It's such a relaxing place. We're up there again later this year staying at a B+B with a balcony and lake view

Re: More scenery

One of my most fave places I love that church at Bowness, I have some really rubbish pics of it. I really want to go now!!!! Kirkstone Pass you feel like you are on top of the world up there.
I love these and I want to grab my boots and rucksack, and camera and just go now! Have you got anymore??

Love the black and white pic of Ullswater.
Great shots, and I want to go now

Did you get that, I want to go now

It overlooks Ullswater?? am I thinking of the right one? I just like to trudge along

Love to see some more pictures, haven't been to the Lakes this year, but I am definitely going up there soon Goes off in search of walking boots and good socks

Re: More scenery

I like these a lot, especially no.7

The Lake District is beautiful, I wish I'd had my current camera when we went last year. No. 4 brought back some memories, I climbed the biggest mountain of my life that looked suspiciously like that, then when we got to the top it was too cloudy to see anything.

Place Fell is a hard walk and you're right, it does overlook Ullswater. It was hard work - I was proper knackered after it My dear hubby had sort of misread the book - he thought it was in geographical order but it was actually in difficulty order. There were 2 or 3 more difficult walks in the book He also thought the 637 was feet, but it was metres so it was quite a long way up.... It was a toughy to say the least. There is a lovely low-level walk along the side of Ullswater with beautiful views if you didn't fancy the 8.5mile/5hour option we did

Gina, that made me laugh - climbing to the top and then not seeing anything Typical lakes weather

Thanks for the comments everyone
