These seem a little blurred would they have been better tripod mounted (the camera hehe) advice please
taken on Canon IXUS 500 5mpg compact camera

They're beautiful roses I'm very new to this and only have a point and shoot camera so cant really coment, but do you have a macro lens or setting on your camera, I find that when up close like that it helps enormously, but I'm sure someone with far more experiance will be along shortly to help

Gorgeous roses but you say, either wait for better light or use a tripod to prevent the slight blurred look ..this was taken in fairly unusual light ..early sun ..not on a tripod
