Machrihanish birds

I had gone there to photograph some Cormorants and got a Shag instead
Actually, most of these bird shots were taken before I got to Machrihanish, there was a bird observatory at Machrihanish but very few birds, so, I did not stay long there. In fact the only shot I got there was of a common Gull. I was hoping to see/photograph a variety of sea birds including Gannets,Terns & others while I was there but was a bit dissapointed. Some of these images are 100% crops

1.Gull

2.Shelduck

3.Male Stonechat, taken at west point beach

4.Great black backed Gull hangin out with a couple of Shags

5.Red breasted Merganser

6.Pipet

7.Sandpiper
