Bride on Black

This shot kinda made itself, it was a very dark doorway so pretty much vignetted itself but I helped it a little more with lighting effects in PS CS2

Re: Bride on Black

I think there may be too much black in this one Sam. Have you tried to crop it all or make the bride bigger in the frame??

summit like this maybe? (ill take it down once you have seen it )

Re: Bride on Black

I think it's nice, but not sure the bride would like it, as it's her 'going into the darkness'

Re: Bride on Black

I like the darkness surrounding her, makes the dress look more fairytale.

Re: Bride on Black

I prefer the first picture Sam.
Honestly...don't crop it!
KK's is nice, but I personally prefer the original, and I'll tell you why.

It really is a beautiful shot, and it's so unusual too.

For me....it tell us, that the new Bride...is stepping into the unknown, as her whole life is about to change, and having the large, black empty space around her, really lends to this idea.

I love it Sam.

Don't crop it.
