Cheers folks, the tiger injured itself when it was a cub and has had to have a few ops so it limps quite badly I think its something to do with that.
They were taken at Knowsley safari park, got hooked after my visit this week so much so bought a season ticket today

That tiger's wound looks more like the result of a brawl than an op though IMHO. I did a bit of research on Knowsley, and its got links with a Prince who breeds race horses, and when I asked them about their conservation polices, they didn't answer... (just thought I'd pop that in for a bit of useless knowledge
)
