That is an excellent shot of a Heron. How did you get so close??? The only pics I have are from the opposite side of the bank, and then they are poo.
I don't think I will ever get good bird pics, I am too impatient probably.

wow that is beautiful so clear ! seen a heron a few months ago near me but no camera so i been on the lookout ever since lol , flew to another country i bet !!!

Was in Sherdley Park in St Helens, seemed a brave little fella stayed there even though there were quite a few dogs and people about.
