evening sun...

Some really pretty pics i took yesterday of the clouds at late evening sun Spot the Swan! :P

Nice set of shots Laura

No.1 is my fave, but I think I would crop some of the blue sky from the top.

Why?

I would cut enough off, so my final image would be devided into four equal segments, of blue sky, fluffy clouds, trees and then finally grass.
I think that composition, along with the four completely different colour tones, would make for a really nice print!
It may even bring your swan slightly more into the centrre of the image also, making a really nice focal point.

Just a thought

thank you for that idea! I think you're almost certainly right, why I wanted it with a big sky i cannot now remember ! hehe but I shall certainly try what you advised!

With a pic as lovely as that, there are a lot of options ...I don;t like seeing focal points dead in the centre ..so here are a few ideas ..

Cropped and slightly altered colour



Same but with soft focus



And sepia



A bit noisey but these are just to give you an idea ..
