Re: Your opinions please!

It's over exposed in areas, esp towards the right hand side..
Crop is too tight for me..
And the background/surrounding is not great either.

Sorry! But you asked

Re: Your opinions please!

I actually think the framing of this shot is ok Mahooli
Like Azz said...it's slightly hot in some places, but nothing a little edit can't fix.

The yellow grass at the bottom right, explains to us, where the dog has got that piece it's chewing, which is delightful by the way, so I like that...but the longer grass at the top is slightly messy...and seems to be trying it's best to creep into the centre of the shot. I think it steals some of the attention away from the focal point of the image...so that's probably the only thing I would either change in the edit...or just be more wary of in future shots

Nice little dog by the way

Re: Your opinions please!

For some reason despite being in bright sunlight my flash went off
It's difficult to pose piccies for 6 week old pups so I just snap and cross my fingers! If you make noises to get their attention they tend to come over lol!

Re: Your opinions please!

Yup!
I think most of us on here have dogs of one sort or another...so we can completely relate to how tricky it can be to capture a good, clean shot...especially with a puppy

And I don't think it's your flash that's causing the image to be slightly over, in fact...judging by the shadows, if it wasn't for your flash going off, I don't think you'd have picked up as much detail on your puppy as you have done.
