Llantrisant (& surrounding areas)

Here's todays shots. Think I've run out of places to visit now, although I should really try get out earlier in the day to make the best use of the sun.

I've also started to shoot in P mode, and have set-up my D40 with the advice on Ken Rockwells site, with some of my own adjustments too. There is a definite change in the pics, esp the colour, and I'm getting less over exposed shots now, esp of the sky...

Re: Llantrisant (& surrounding areas)

Beautiful images Azz! 4 is my fav. it has lovley composure, DOF and color. Well done

I would like to see number 1 with the tracker further to left than in the middle of the composure, i think you would get a better feel of movement, but thats just personal pref.

Re: Llantrisant (& surrounding areas)

Thanks All!

Looks good K - I think I was going more for the solitude angle again The walk up to there was about 2 hours (uphill), and he was the only person up there, peaceful and alone. I like your version too tho

GH - yeah I like this new mode There is a definite change to the 'feel' of the pics. Couldn't go out and about today tho (no sunshine anyway) so haven't had any more time to play with it.

Nero - as beautiful as the Autumn colours are, I wish summer would stick around a bit longer!
