Egyptian Osprey

Okay, I’ve been given a gentle nudge in the ribs to post some pics so I thought I’d jump in at the deep end.

I was in Egypt for New Year and was lucky enough to catch a few shots of this Osprey out fishing for lunch.
Even more lucky I had my D80 and the 18-200 vr with me!
I don't really take many (any?) wildlife pics as i am more of a people and places type of guy.
The majestic silhouette of these birds gives an easy indication though of why the ancient Egyptians must have found them so spiritualy iconic.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Re: Egyptian Osprey

Take your pic! lol...
The Red Sea has an abundance of wonderfully coloured marine life.
This was taken when I was snorkelling off Ras Mohamed with my little Sony Cyber W5 in it's marine housing around the same time.
