Tulips

I followed a tutorial thing in a Practical Photography magazine I found tucked away in my room. I'd always meant to try it out, but I never got the flowers when I went shopping. Anyway, here are the results (well, some of my favourites):

My laptops a right freak though. On that screen the backgrounds look fine and white, but now that I'm on my desktop, they all look yellowy and nasty
Its probably because I only had cheapo greaseproof paper and not proper white stuff. I might try it again sometime, I have some purple tulips downstairs come to think of it ...

Re: Tulips

Nice pics Cesca Really like the second one.

Yeah, the background on the 1st and last pic is off white/yellow - your laptop more than likely has a TN lcd panel, which is not as good as displaying colours. Always do your final post production on your best monitor

Re: Tulips

Thanks guys
My laptop is meant to display colours as they look when printed, but obviously HP lie. When I printed a couple of these for my coursework on gloss, they looked like they do on this screen, but when I tired matte, they looked almost white :/
